Word of the Evening

   Psalms 27:14: "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and he will strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord."
Patience is a hard thing to have when we need something important in our life to happen. God tells us that patience builds our faith. A good example I can give you is this. I was in the Marines for 4 years. My first duty station was Okinawa, Japan. I was 19 years old and had never been away from my family. My granny would send me tons of letters. I remember a few times I had ran short on money and would call her and ask if she would send me some. I would be so relieved when she said yes, I will put it in the mail. I knew my problem was handled because I trusted my grannys word.
   Thats how our relationship with God should be. Once we ask for something believe we receive it from him. We don't have to have it manifest right away, but know it's in the mail and on the way. God says wait on him, be of good courage and he will strengthen us. This is a promise from him. We have a right as a believer in Jesus to come boldy to the throne of Grace and claim his promises. So, put Gods Word back on him and show him your faith and he will answer you. He wants us to put his word to the test.
   So the next time you are faced with a problem dont worry. Instead, give it to God, then Wait patiently on him to move in your situation. Remember, once you ask, the check is in the mail. God Bless all of you.
